Welcome to elfje met bokshandschoenen (A Fairy With Boxing Gloves), website of artist Marika Kruijt (Utrecht, The Netherlands).

On this site Atelier Marika Kruijt would like to display her work to you as you walk through the pages. You can find pictures on every page beneath the text. Furthermore, there are several pages dedicated solely to her works of art (see Chapter Exhibition). One could say this website is one big continuing exhibition, showing pictures of recent work, and work that has already been sold. By doing so this website intends to provide a good impression of her oeuvre. And of course, we hope to delight you just by showing the magic of her work.

Many of Marika Kruijts paintings are available as Wishing or Greeting Cards, printed in small circulation and issued by Kruijt herself. You will find a large collection of Wishing Cards in a separate chapter further on.

As her work often has a radiant expression, it is very suitable for all kinds of applications: besides Wishing Cards there are for example Small Cards with her illustrations - which can be personalized with your name/ text printed on the backside.

Furthermore, you can order personalized Stationery, with comes in a beautiful box. Choose an illustration and get you very own stationery, including your address and personal data. See chapter Stationery.

English readers

The text on this website is mainly in Dutch. There is a poetic biography which is completely translated, see page About a Fairy.  Nevertheless, we would like to advise you to wander through the pages and try and find your way. Here and there some keywords and texts in English are added in colour beige.  Dutch is, to a certain extent, similar to English, so maybe part of it is comprehensive.  Fortunately, for understanding the pictures one only needs to take a good look.

No enlargements of the pictures are available  yet. In the future, this website will probably contain more English.

Prices

Paintings on this website that don't include a price are already sold. Prices of paintings are including a very simple framework, except for canvasses. Foreign taxes, VAT's and submission/ shipping et cetera, are excluded.

How to order

For ordering please email marikakruijt@zonnet.nl, or do so via contact.

Stationary: select your illustration (number) from illustration list (2 pages) and choose the combination you want from examples: Set A,B,C,D of E.

See price list for further information.

Please mention in your email your illustration, and for whom the stationery is meant, and his/her/their complete address. Also mention  if possible: email address, telephone number and mobile number.

Wishing Cards:

Price for 10 Wishing Cards 25,00 euro, 20 Cards: 40,00 euro, submission Europe included (outside Europe + 3 euro) You can hoose your cards from the LijstW/ListW (6 pages). Please order 10 cards (or a multiple of 10) by naming illustrationnumber and desired number per card.

Small Cards (52x74 mm:see photo page Wishing Cards):

a set containing a variety of 25 cards. Price; 15 euro. Please mention 'Set Small Cards'.

After ordering, you will first receive a confirmation of your order and of total costs from Atelier Marika Kruijt. Then, after receiving your payment on account number 1222795,  Postbank- The Netherlands-  the article(s) will be sent to you.
